WEST INDIAN NATIONAL ASSOCIATION INC.

This event is designed to build the self-esteem of young women of Caribbean decent in the State of Maryland. Preparation for the pageant includes workshops for the contestants. In addition, the contestants will receive WIN-A’s guidance as they seek local sponsorship to defray the cost of Caribbean-style costumes that they are expected to design and present during the pageant.In the past, attendance has been between five and six hundred people at this event.
